Being a medium density foam, it bonds the sheathing and the studs together making an even more solid wall system. Closed cell foam also eliminates the chance of mold or mildew to form because the product does not allow moisture to flow through it, therefore no food for the mold to even start.

Some applications for closed cell sprayfoam include, exterior walls cavities giving a total of R31 in a 2×6 stud frame, underside of flat or sloped roofs in a vented and non vented roof system and under slab applications instead of the use of rigid foam before the concrete is poured.
